Volunteers

Hundreds of men, women and children – often entire families – donate their time and talents to help us at the Reno-Sparks Gospel Mission. Join the team!

You can be involved off-site by organizing needed items. Or, you can come to one of our facilities or to help in many ways.

Volunteers are the backbone of our ministry – we need you!

DOWNTOWN MISSION

We can always use guest speakers and musical/drama performances for the program clients and guests. You can sign up for a regular rotation or a one-time visit. Every visit is appreciated!

Please call Chaplain Gerry (775) 329-0698.

MEALS FOR HOMELESS MEN AND WOMEN

A great way to serve! Church groups, youth groups and families come several times a month to serve nightly hot meals for 120 homeless men and women at the Mission. Dinners are served from 5-5:30 p.m. for women and 5:30-6 p.m. for men. Church groups are invited to share their faith with the men and women. Groups can bring their prepared meals and Mission staff will heat them up to health codes before serving.
