What do you do at the Mission?
I manage our four Thrift Stores and oversee the Warehouse Clothing Department.

I moved to Reno in 1978. I graduated Hug High School in 1980. I have worked for the Mission since May of 2000.
What’s one thing about you that surprises people?
I used to be a meth addict.
What’s the most influential book you’ve read besides the Bible?
Purpose Driven Life.
Favorite TV show or movie?
The Cooking Channel.
The movie “First Knight” with Sean Connery & Richard Gere.
How did you end up at the Mission?
My addiction brought me to the Mission and the Lord kept me here.
What’s the best criticism you ever received?
Don’t judge others.
How did you come to know Christ?
When a very special friend, Steve Higgins, invited me to his church.
What hobbies do you have?
I like to read and watch movies.
Biggest fear?
Disappointing the people I love.
What do like most about being part of the Mission team?
Working with “family” everyday. And seeing people change their lives.
What food never touches your lips?
Apple pie.
Favorite memory at the Mission?
When Rick Redding became Executive Director.
Morning or evening person?
In between.
Why the Gospel Mission?
That’s where all the love is.
